The Museum für Naturkunde – Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science is an integrated research museum within the Leibniz Association. It is one of the most important research institutions worldwide in the areas of biological and geological evolution and biodiversity. It exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. With a research collection of 30 million objects and more than 650.000 visitors annually it is among the largest and most popular natural history museums in Germany.
