Have you ever bought a ticket for the Pergamon Museum? That was us!

We are a small, friendly and dedicated team that develops new SaaS solutions in the field of visitor management for culture and leisure.

To strengthen our support team, we are looking for working students or a part-time or full-time employee based in Germany as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

  • you support our customers via ticket system and telephone (video chat if necessary) with their questions, problems and visions for the future
  • you reproduce error patterns, search for bugs and document the results of even complicated issues in an easily understandable way
  • you help with the creation and data maintenance of program documentation
  • you support our customers at special events if required, e.g. openings at the weekend
  • you train customers in the operation of the software

What we expect from you:

  • you are a good communicator and enjoy communicating, perhaps you already have experience in customer and/or IT service
  • logical thinking is your thing and you enjoy logic puzzles
  • you can structure your thoughts and your work well and document them precisely
  • you have already worked with go~mus OR have experience in the cultural sector, especially with museums
  • you don’t mind working weekends and being on call, our support hours are 9:00-18:00
  • for working students: you are still enrolled at a German university until at least the end of 2024

Details of the job offer

go~mus enables venues to sell their tickets (day tickets, time slot tickets, season tickets), events, group offers, vouchers, merchandise via all possible sales channels and to manage any necessary resources (rooms, staff, inventory).

We are looking to strengthen our sales team. We attach great importance to potential and less to extensive sales experience or special training. A basic understanding of ticketing, culture and procurement law is a plus.

 

What will your tasks be with us?

  • In Berlin, remote work possible, but not fully remote.
    Direct collaboration with the CSO and the Head of Marketing.
  • Support in opportunities and award procedures.
    Independently contacting potential customers by phone and email
  • Support of the chat on the website and the contact form
  • Qualification of leads
    Cold calling is part of the job profile, but we do not sell a mass market product and do not expect X calls per day.
  • Many of our customers are state-owned and are obliged to carry out procurements as part of procurement procedures. Your tasks will therefore include checking and preparing specifications, catalogs of requirements and other procedural documents.

 

What qualifications do we expect from you?

  • We do not require a degree or other professional qualification.
  • We are looking for people with a high level of self-motivation who can familiarize themselves with topics independently and use the freedom given to develop themselves.
  • Experience in the operation of CRM systems is a plus.
  • Experience in using MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) or Google Workspace products (Sheets, Doc, Slides) is a plus.
  • Understanding of software development is a plus.
    Experience using project management software is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of procurement law is a plus.
  • We are not looking for a specific age, but if you are older than 40, you should have no problem with younger direct and indirect supervisors (and a younger team).
  • As you will be in direct contact with our mostly German-speaking clients, you must be a native German speaker or have a comparable DAF level.

Unfortunately, our office does not have an elevator and is located on the top floor. We are therefore currently unable to offer a working environment for people who require barrier-free access.

Salary

You can expect a fixed salary of €40,000 gross (for a 40-hour week) plus a bonus of at least €5,000 if targets are met.
